The BlackBerry® Remote Stereo Gateway is designed to enable you to wirelessly transmit music from your BlackBerry device to your home or portable stereo. The BlackBerry Remote Stereo Gateway does not use a battery; it is powered by the BlackBerry® Travel Charger.
LED notification The LED light on the BlackBerry® Remote Stereo Gateway displays different colors to indicate different statuses. LED color solid red The BlackBerry Remote Stereo Gateway is turned on. flashing blue and red The BlackBerry Remote Stereo Gateway is in pairing mode.
Gateway Prerequisites: Using the BlackBerry Remote Stereo Gateway • Verify that you are using a Bluetooth® enabled BlackBerry® device and that Bluetooth technology is turned on. • Verify that your BlackBerry device is running BlackBerry® Device Software version 4.2.2 or later.
Pair with your BlackBerry device 1. Connect the smaller end of the BlackBerry® Travel Charger to the USB port on the side of the BlackBerry® Remote Stereo Gateway. 2. Depending on the type of BlackBerry Travel Charger that you have, insert the plug blade attachment into the power adapter or fold the plug blades down.
