    The machine is designed to make a highly accurate metal detection by the adoption of Dielectric Loss Isolated High Frequency Oscillation method sensor, which was developed by SAIKA. If a metal piece approaches the magnetic field A generated by the sensor, an eddy current runs on the metal surface and the magnetic field B will be generated to cancel the magnetic field A.

    Metal Detector METARIDDER 1.1.2 Features The machine is capable of detecting and removing metal pieces mixed in the material using a highly sensitive metal detector.  Four types of sensor calibers (20 mm, 24 mm, 30 mm and 40 mm) are available, which can be selected according to intended application, by sensitivity, the volume to be treated and shape of material.

  • Page 18 To check the detection sensitivity, confirm that a test piece will be discharged to the discharge chute properly. If the test piece cannot be discharged properly, contact SAIKA. It may not be running depending on the ambient temperature. The cooling fan service life (*1) is approx. 4 years and 6 months (approx. 40,000 hours), assuming that it runs for 24 hours.
