C71KW will not have vent holes in the top of the cover. The C71KW bottom cover will have a recess for attaching a cable tie for hanging the unit in a wall mount scenario.

    C71KW needs the VRC81 remote (The C71KW will not function with the RC6x or RC7x remotes, and the VRC81 will not function with any older DIRECTV receivers and clients). Like the other DIRECTV remotes, the VRC81 can be programmed to operate some features on TV’s or Audio/Video equipment.
