Battery Safety
WARNING: Li-Ion batteries, if incorrectly used, stored or charged are a fire, burn
and explosion hazard.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children
• Only charge Li-Ion batteries using the charger provided or designed specifically
for your product
• Only use Li-Ion batteries provided with a product or specifically designed to be
compatible
• Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to
follow these instructions may cause overheating or fire
• When not in use batteries should be stored at room temperature (approximately
20˚C/68°F)
• Ensure that battery contacts cannot accidentally short in storage. Keep batteries
clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short. Keep away from other metal
objects, for example paperclips, coins, keys, nails and screws

Accu veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING: Indoen onjuist gebruikt, opgeborgen of opgeladen zijn Li-ion
accu's een brand- en explosiegevaar
• Houdt de accu uit de buurt van kinderen
• Laad Li-ion accu's enkel op met de oplader, inbegrepen bij het product of
speciaal ontworpen voor uw product
• Gebruik enkel Li-ion accu's inbegrepen bij uw product of speciaal ontworpen
voor compatibiliteit
• Laat accu's na het opladen of na zwaar gebruik 15 minuten afkoelen om
oververhitting en brand te voorkomen
• Wanneer niet in gebruik dienen accu's op kamertemperatuur (ongeveer 20°C)
opgeborgen te worden
• Zorg ervoor dat de accu, wanneer opgeborgen, geen kortsluiting kan
veroorzaken. Houdt accu's schoon; vreemde voorwerpen kunnen kortsluiting
veroorzaken. Houdt accu's uit de buurt van metalen voorwerpen als paperclips,
muntjes, sleutels, etc.

Consignes de sécurité relatives à l'utilisation
des batteries
Attention : Les batteries Li-ion peuvent présenter un risque d'incendie, de
brulures et d'explosion lorsqu'elles sont mal utilisées.
• Conservez la batterie hors de portée des enfants
• Pour recharger les batteries Li-ion, n'utilisez que le chargeur fournit ou conçu
pour la charge de ce produit
• Utilisez uniquement les batteries fournies avec le produit ou celles explicitement
désignées comme étant compatibles.
• Laissez refroidir les batteries pendant 15 minutes après une charge ou une
période d'utilisation intensive. Le non-respect de ces instructions peut conduire
à une surchauffe ou un incendie
• Lorsqu'elles ne sont pas utilisées, les batteries doivent être entreposées à
température ambiante (environ 20°C/68°F)
• Assurez-vous qu'aucun court-circuit n'est possible lorsque la batterie est
entreposée. Veillez à ce que les batteries restent propres, les objets ou la saleté
peuvent donner lieu à un court-circuit. Gardez à distance des objets métalliques

• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. This liquid may
cause skin irritation or burns. Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush
with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help
• DO NOT open, disassemble, crush, heat above 60°C or incinerate. Do not
dispose of in fire or similar
Instructions
Note: Batteries are an expendable supply whose capacity shortens over
time. Always adhere to the correct handling and charging instructions in the
manual. If the battery does not hold charge or working time is shortened,
purchase a genuine GMC replacement.
Please note the following:
• The battery is supplied in a low charge condition. Charge before use
• Only charge this battery with the charger provided with your power tool
• Refer to the main manual provided with your charger or power tool for charging
instructions
• Remove the battery as soon as possible from the charger when fully charged
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of batteries that are no
longer functional.
• Discharge batteries before disposal
• DO NOT dispose of batteries with household waste
• DO NOT dispose of by incineration, which may release toxic materials or gases
plus a risk of explosion
• Bij verkeerd gebruik kan vloeistof uit de accu lekken. De vloeistof veroorzaakt
mogelijk huidirritatie brandwonden. Wanneer de vloeistof in contact komt met de
huid spoelt u uw huid onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de vloeistof in de ogen
terecht komt zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp
• Open, demonteer, breek, verwarm (boven 60°C) en verbrand accu's niet. Gooi
accu's niet in het vuur
Instructies
Let op: Batterijen zijn een wegwerp product waarbij de capaciteit op lang
gebruik kan verlagen. Hou er rekening mee om altijd de juiste handeling
en oplaad methode te gebruiken, dit zoals aangegeven in de handleiding.
Indien de batterij niet oplaad of de capaciteit verlaagd is raden wij u een GMC
vervanging aan.
Let op:
• De accu wordt met een laag laadniveau geleverd. Laad de accu voor gebruik
volledig op
• Laad de accu enkel met de oplader, voorzien bij uw oplader of machine op
• Verwijs naar de handleiding van uw oplader of machine betreft de correcte
laadprocedure
• Ontkoppel de accu, wanneer volledig opgeladen, zo snel mogelijk van de oplader
Verwijdering
Neem de wettelijke richtlijnen bij het verwijderen van onbruikbare accu's in acht
• Ontlaad de accu voordat deze verwijderd wordt
• De accu mag niet met uw huishoudelijk afval verwijderd worden
• Dans de mauvaises conditions, du liquide peut être expulsé de la batterie. Ce
liquide peut irriter ou bruler la peau. Évitez tout contact. En cas de contact
accidentel, rincez abondamment avec de l'eau. Si le liquide rentre en contact
avec les yeux consulter un médecin
• NE PAS ouvrir, démonter, écraser, chauffer à plus de 60°C ou incinérer. Ne jetez
pas la batterie au feu ou autres
Instructions d'utilisation
Remarque : Les batteries constituent une source d'énergie altérable. La
capacité d'une batterie va diminuer avec le temps au fil des utilisations et
particulièrement si la recharge n'est pas effectuée de manière appropriée.
Conformez-vous toujours aux bonnes procédures à suivre telles qu'indiquées
dans le manuel d'instructions. Si la batterie ne tient pas la charge, ou si le
temps de service résulte amoindri, procédez à son remplacement avec un
modèle d'origine de marque GMC.
• La batterie n'est pas fournie chargée complètement. Recharger avant l'utilisation
• Ne rechargez la batterie qu'avec le chargeur fourni avec votre outil électrique
• Pour les instructions relatives à la recharge veuillez-vous référer au manuel
fourni avec le chargeur ou l'outil électrique
• Enlevez la batterie du chargeur dès que possible quand celle-ci est totalement
rechargée
Recyclage
Conformez-vous à la réglementation nationale en vigueur lorsque les batteries ne
fonctionnent plus.
• Déchargez les batteries avant l'élimination
• NE jetez PAS avec les ordures ménagères
• N'incinérez PAS, ceci pourrait libérer des matières ou des gaz toxiques et
entrainer un risque d'explosion

Battery Guarantee
GMC batteries are guaranteed for 2 years. If a defect occurs on a registered
battery during the term of the Battery Guarantee, due to material or manufacturing
fault, then GMC will replace it free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to
commercial use nor does it extend to normal wear and tear or damage as a result
of accident, abuse or misuse.

accu gratis. Deze garantie heeft geen betrekking op commercieel gebruik en strekt
zich niet uit tot normale slijtage of schade ten gevolge van een ongeluk, verkeerd
gebruik of misbruik.
