    1-SAFETY GUIDELINES PROPER APPLIANCE USE General information Caution, this manual contains instructions for the sole use of professionally qualified fitters and/or servicemen, in accordance with the applicable laws in force. The user is NOT permitted to service this appliance. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for personal injury, harm to animals or property damage resulting from failure to observe the instructions contained in the manuals supplied with the cylinder.

    If the appliance has a fault and/ or is not operating correctly, switch the appliance off and do not make any attempt to repair it or service it directly. Contact only legally qualified staff. Any repairs to products must be carried out only by staff authorised by RED, using only original parts.
  • Page 5 2-GENERAL INFORMATION INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED TO THE USER Before installing the appliance, you are advised to wash all of the system pipes thoroughly to remove any residues that may impede the appliance from operating correctly. During installation, you must inform the user that: In the event of water leaks, they must shut off the water supply and advise the technical assistance department as soon as possible.

    The conditions of the guarantee are that the system is installed according to the installation instructions supplied by RED and the specific regulations in force and that regular, periodic maintenance is carried out by qualified technical staff in line with the specifications contained in the instruction manual.

    7-TYPE OF INSTALLATION INSTALLATION OF ROOF HOOKS ON STANDARD COVERINGS Pre-assemble the roof hook and its base plate. Do not fully tighten the screws yet. Remove the tiles to reveal the beams, then fit and secure the base plate onto the beam with the torx screws Always ensure that the roof hook is positioned in the concave part of the tile.

  • Page 24 7-TYPE OF INSTALLATION Adjust the upper rail in the same way but without tightening the nuts fully (see the diagram). Caution: the groove on the upper assembling rail must be turned towards the collector. The collector assembling rails can be connected for extension with the rails connector included in the supply.   • Page 25 7-TYPE OF INSTALLATION Connection plus-kit 1 – Insert the collector into the gap on the lower assembling rail and align it laterally. 2 – Slot the upper assembling rail into the collector gap with a click. The upper assembling rail is fastened with the screws after connecting the collectors.

Next position the hexagonal allen head screws and tighten the connection clips to the relevant joints with an allen wrench. In this way, the two ends are fastened to each other and the o-ring is fastened and held down.

Flow meter with integrated adjustment valve (indications in l/min). Adjust the calculated flow with a hexagonal allen wrench while the pump is operating (clockwise rotation reduces the flow).

    10-MAINTENANCE/ CHECKS You are advised to have your high quality solar system checked regularly every 2 years by a qualified technician to keep it in top operating condition. • Check the seal and that there is sufficient heat transfer fluid in the system. Also rinse and clean the system using the filling station. • Check the seal of all connections and the tightness of the screws on the assembly parts.
