    Special Features The unit can run off of the built in rechargeable NiMH battery, standard Alkaline batteries, or 9-D Sized rechargeable batteries. The switch inside the battery compartment allows you to turn charging feature on or off. Select ALKALINE to use standard non-rechargeable Alkaline batteries. Select NiMH to use and charge 9-D Size rechargeable batteries or the built-in rechargeable NiMH battery.
