1. Turn on your computer. 2. Go to www.primusgaming.com/software to download the driver software. 3. To start the installation, double click the Setup.exe file. 4. Once the Welcome setup screen is displayed, click Next to continue. 5. In this step, you will be asked to Accept the License Agreement. Click the Next button.

6. You are now ready to install your brand new Primus PHS-250 (ARCUS 250S) Gaming Headset. Once you click Install, the system will ask you to connect the headset to a USB port on your PC. 7. Module interface connection You must use the module to install the software, and also to enable the 7.1 channel sound effect.

• Click on Install, as shown below. • Then accept by clicking OK.

• This screen will display the progress bar of the software being downloaded. 8. In order to complete the installation process, you will need to restart your PC. Click OK when prompted. Select Finish once you are ready to conclude rebooting the system.
II. CONFIGURATION TOOL This gaming software allows you to configure the headset through a single user-friendly application.

Click Exit when you are done. 3. The main screen for the PRIMUS PHS-250 gaming headset will be now displayed. 4. The control panel at the top shows the current settings that are enabled or not enabled on your headset.

6. To delete a profile, select the one you wish to eliminate and click the minus _ icon. Choose Delete. A confirmation popup will be displayed, click Yes to permanently delete the profile. III. Application settings 1. Click on the cogwheel at the top of the software screen.

IV. Speaker controls 1. If you right click on the Speaker icon, it will bring up a set of menus. 2. These include: Volume Control, Sample Rate, Equalizer, Environment Effects, 7.1 Virtual Speaker shifter, Xear SingFX, Xear Surround Max. 3. Volume Control: it allows you to raise and lower the main volume with the slider under Master.

4. Sample Rate: toggles the setting between 44.1kHz and 48kHz. 5. Equalizer: click on the circle next to Enable Equalizer to turn it on. You can customize the sound using the equalizer or any of the presets. To save a custom preset equalizer, click Please input preset name…, type in the desired label and finish by clicking the Disk icon.

7. 7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter: to enable, click the circle next to Enable 7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter. The USB module is required for this feature to work. It will simulate a 7.1 speaker system. The icons on the left are used to rotate the speaker position around you.

10. Xear Surround Max: this function creates immersive surround sound fields even with stereo audio sources. This can only be used when Virtual Surround is turned on. To enable, click on the circle next to Enable Xear Surround Max. V. Mic controls: 1.

4. Xear SingFX- Microphone Echo: singing echo can generate natural echo effects on your voice just like a karaoke machine. To enable, click on the circle next to Microphone Echo. Use the slider adjust the intensity of the echo. Click the Home icon to reset to its default values.

VI. Information: 1. Click the icon at the top of the software screen. This will bring up the Information window. Click the Detail button below to display the additional data.
