Congratulations on the purchase of your new Neutron 2001. We have done everything to insure a
long life and safe operations, but the installation and use of the ballast is the responsibility of the
user. Damage to the reflector as a result of incorrect installation and use revokes your warranty.
Read this manual carefully before installing your reflector.

The Neutron 2001 reflector is designed to drive horticultural high frequency HPS lamps for plant
cultivation. It is intended for climate room use. It is suited for a damp location but should not be
used outdoors or in wet environments.
Do not operate this luminaire close to combustible materials. The lamp and reflector will get hot
during operation.
Do not touch the reflector or lamp during or right after operation.
Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot part of the luminaire.
Make sure the lamp is clean and inserted correctly.
Recommended mounting clearance for your fixture is at least 8"-12" on all sides. Do not mount
directly to any surface.
Never pull the cord to unplug the reflector, pull the plug only.

- Page 2 Designed to Dissipate The Heat Sideways LAMP REPLACEMENT AND HOT RESTRIKE • Always install the lamp before connecting your reflector to mains. • Allow lamp to cool 30 minutes before restarting (hot restrike). • When changing the lamp always disconnect the reflector from mains by removing the mains plug.

- Page 4 Designed to Dissipate The Heat Sideways REMPLACEMENT DE L’AMPOULE ET RÉAMORÇAGE À CHAUD • Toujours installer l’ampoule avant de brancher le réflecteur. • Permettre à l’ampoule de refroidir 30 minutes avant le réamorçage. • Lors du changement de l’ampoule, toujours débrancher le réflecteur. Laisser l’ampoule et le réflecteur refroidir durant 30 minutes.
