Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and to ensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown.

Hold spacer by installing screws through washers place and install bolt assembly into tailgate. Install upper nut inserts and through washer and tie- onto bolt, counter-hold nut and torque to down bracket...
Page 5 7. Set upper assembly onto tailgate assembly 9. Bolt assembled brackets to the base using two ensuring bolt holes line up. Install four rear screws bolts and two washers . Torque bolts to specification. into panel and hand tighten screws. TORQUE 8 ft.
Page 6 11. Close tailgate and adjust box to desired width. 14. Attach cables to brackets with bolts Counter-hold nut and torque bolts and nuts . Ensure cable eyelet is attached to specification. outside of bracket as shown. Do not tighten bolts at this time.
