Outdoor Shell
for VueZone Motion Detection Cameras
Water-resistant shell lets you
use your camera outdoors.
• Sprinkle, spray, and splash
resistant (IPX4).
• Camera and shell attach securely
to mount on threaded post.
• Do not submerge or use in
standing water.
• Not suitable for use in
extreme temperatures.

Place camera in shell
• Unscrew top and bottom
screws to open shell.
• Turn camera ON and place
face down in shell front half.
• Firmly press shell back
onto front half.
• Make sure shell is closed
with gasket in place.
• Firmly tighten top and
bottom screws.
Tip: install fresh camera
batteries before closing.
Install mount & shell
• Choose a suitable camera
location – check viewing
angle and signal strength
before installing mount.
• Install mount with screws.
• Screw shell onto threaded
post of mount and tighten
lock nut until snug against
shell bottom to prevent
camera rotation.
• Adjust camera view and
tighten knob on mount to
secure camera position.

Q: Will motion detection
work through the shell?
A: Yes – the special black
plastic on the shell front
enables the motion
sensor to function.
Q: Is the shell suitable for all
weather conditions?
A: No – camera batteries
are subject to standard
temperature range
limitations (14º–122ºF
or -10º–50ºC).
Q: Is the outdoor shell
impact resistant?
A: No – the shell is for
moisture protection only
and will break if dropped.
