Product description

The KNX USB interface UIMtp provides a bi-directional connection to
the KNX TP bus system. PCs can be connected via USB. USB and bus
system are galvanically isolated. UIMtp is supplied by USB. No external
power supply is necessary.
With the possibility to address all bus devices, network configurations
become less time-consuming. For the devices connected to KNX, UIMtp
provides:
Commissioning
Addressing
Configuring
UIMtp supports USB suspend mode. Communication protocol used for
communication between interface and host is the flexible "cEMI"
protocol. The connection between KNX and a PC with standard software
(like ETS, EITT; also in Raw Frame operating mode) or other software is
handled by the Falcon driver. Extended Frames and long messages with
up to 220 byte APDU length are supported.
Requirements of Directives EMC, RoHS and LVD are met. Standards for
residential, commercial, and industrial environments are fulfilled. The
full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at the following
