ROLL PRINTER CONTROL PANEL POWER Switch Supplies power to the printer. LF button Feeds paper when the printer is offline. SEL button Sets printer online to the instrument. SEL lamp Lights when the printer is online. Printer will function only when this lamp is on. POWER lamp Lights when POWER switch is ON.
ROLL PRINTER LOADING THE RIBBON CASSETTE LOADING THE RIBBON CASSETTE Ensure that the printer’ s power switch is off. 7381002A Remove the printer cover by holding it as shown and lifting up. 7381003A Turn the knob (1) to take up the ribbon slack.

ROLL PRINTER LOADING THE PAPER Plug the ac adapter directly into the outlet. Do not use an extension cord. 7381013A LOADING THE PAPER Remove the printer cover by holding it as shown and lifting up. 7381003A Ensure that the end of the paper is straight. Insert the end of the roll into the slot of the printer mechanism.

ROLL PRINTER LOADING THE PAPER Turn the printer on. The POWER and SEL lamps light. 7381008A Press the SEL button, then press the LF button until 1.5 to 2 inches of paper feed out of the printer mechanism. 7381009A Move the paper holder to the right, insert the paper, then secure the roll with the holder.
