E-3 Sentry AWACS
Originally based on the Boeing 707-300 the airborne warning and command systems better known as
AWACS has become an indispensable element in the conduct of modern warfare. The B-707 based E-3
AWACS is used primarily by the United States Air Force and several allies as well, including NATO.
The new Minicraft E-3 features new tooling representing fore and aft radar systems, side scan radar and the
classic radome mounted above the aircraft for long-range detection.
