  • Page 3 Stand 1. Remove the Stand parts from the underside of the white packaging. 2. Assemble the Stand with the vertical numbered sides facing outwards. They are a tight fit and may need a bit of Persuading, no glue needed. 3. Fit black split rubber tubes to stand tops and cut 5mm short. 4.
  • Page 4 Work to be carried out on a table Mast, Boom and Main Sail 10. Adjust the Main Boom Kicker to 63mm between bolts with the small Allen Key. Turning the top of the key away from you will increase the length.
  • Page 5 12. Tie 150mm cord to Main Boom outer end between a and b with 2t/3hh. 13. Make a 40mm loop in 400mm cord. Pass the cord through Boom Band f and under Silicon Tube d. Pass the cord through the first two holes in the Bowsie and then through the fixed Boom Band c.
  • Page 6 18. Fit the Short Top Mast with the Forestay fitting, flat side down. 19. Fit the small Mast Head Swivel over the Crane. Flat face down. 20. Push the Crane into the plug at the top of the Mast until it nearly touches the Mast Head Swivel, which must be able rotate.
  • Page 7 25. Make a 10mm loop in a 150mm cord. Pass the cord through the Main Sail bottom eye and around the Mast. Pass the cord through the loop and pull in leaving a 2 - 3mm gap between the Mast and the sail edge. Tie off with 3hh.
  • Page 8 28. To make the Jib Outer cord, tie 150mm cord to Jib Boom outer end between h and i 2t/3hh. 29. To make the Boom Swivel, tie a 40mm loop in 150mm cord then tie to the Jib Boom between the Silicon Tubes n and o with 2t/3hh. The end of the loop should be 55mm from the outside of the Tubes.
  • Page 9 34. Pass the Front Cord (step 32) through the Jib Sail eye then tie off in the hole in the front fitting with a 3 – 5mm gap so that the sail is not twisted. 1t/3hh. The Counterweigh is used to balance the Jib Sail, see note at the end. Fit Mast and Sails to yacht 35.
  • Page 10 40. Fit a Bowsie to top end of the Forestay (bottom two holes). Pass the Forestay cord through the Forestay Mast fitting and pull tight. Move the Bowsie to 10mm from the Forestay fitting and tie cord to the Bowsie, 2t/3hh.
  • Page 11 Adjust the Jib Sail Bowsie to tighten up the Jib Sail leading edge, normally kept tight. Adjusting Main Sheet 45. Pass the Main Sail loop through metal ring in the Bridle and then attach it to the Sheeting Clip. Pull the cord tight through the Boom Band and Silicon Tube.
  • Page 12 47. Turn on Rx, check TX lights are still steady, if not turn off TX, LH stick up, turn of TX. You do not need to turn off the TX every time. 48. Move the Main Boom out, (stick fully right). Rx off. 49.
  • Page 13 Fit Rudder Put the Rudder Arm on the deck and insert the Rudder Pushrod into the Arm. Insert the Rudder shaft into the hull with the top edge of the Rudder matching the hull curve. Tighten the screw on the Arm using the Allen key. Make certain that the screw mates with the flat on the rudder shaft by holding the rudder and rocking the Arm as you tighten.
