Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in your home.

This will remove any material or dust from the appliance, which may exist from the manufacturing process. 1. Open the lid and fill fresh cold water into the kettle. Then close the lid ensuring that it is closed correctly.

Do not immerse power cord, kettle and power base in water or any other liquids. 3. Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a damp cloth and then polish with a soft dry cloth.
