Important information for the user

What is blood pressure?
One force is created by the heart as the chamber of the
heart, called the ventricle, forcibly ejects blood into the
blood vessels and through the vascular system. Another
force is created by the arteries as they resist the blood flow.
Blood pressure is the result of these two forces.
Is my blood pressure normal?
To evaluate your blood pressure, see the following blood
pressure classification chart published by the WHO (World
Health Organization).
Please note:
Deviations are very rare. Please talk to your doctor if the
results you measure are consistently outside the normal
range.

What is meant by systolic and diastolic pressure?
Systolic pressure is the higher value, measured at the
height of the heart's contraction. Diastolic pressure is the
lower value, representing the pressure when the heart
relaxes.
What about low blood pressure?
Generally speaking, a lower blood pressure reading is
better as long as it does not cause symptoms such as
dizziness or fainting.
