Rather than stand in the projector's light beam to point on the screen, use a laser pointer or pointer stick instead. Make sure that students and other viewers observe the eye safety warnings and stay out of the direct light beam. Use window blinds and turn down interior light sources to reduce the washout glare of ambient light.
