Guidelines are provided in this section for choosing a suitable environment and adapting the unit to it properly. 2.1.1 Environment Place the units in a place which is accessible for installation and maintenance work and which permits use of the keyboard and the reading of the front indicator LEDs. -

Higher levels of relative humidity, up to 95%, can be tolerated at below 30 °C. It should be borne in mind that moderate condensation may occasionally occur as a consequence of temperature variations and, apart from the unit’s own protection, vigilance of these units is necessary once they have been started up on sites where it is suspected that the conditions described above will not be present. -

This requires disconnecting the unit from the PV array and power supply. It is also essential to close the unit before connecting it to the PV array or the mains. If these are not requested, the plate will be supplied with its hole pre-cut to be able to open it. If the hole is opened and a cable gland is not fitted for correctly installed IP 65 units, the unit will lose its IP 65 protection rating.

Installation Manual INGECON® SUN SMART TL AAY2000IKI03 5.3.6 Mains connection The inverter’s metal parts (unit ground) are electrically connected to the ground pin in the grid connection quick connector. To ensure the safety of personnel, this terminal must be connected to the installation’s ground.
