    Welcome Overview Congratulations on purchasing the XJ100 Wireless Handset! The XJ100 IP phone enables users to place and receive phone calls via a wireless Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) connection. The phone can be used within the coverage of wireless access points (802.11b or 802.11g) and provides users with a cost-effective mobile communications solution.

    Using WEP This section explains how to perform the wireless configuration for the XJ100 using WEP, or Wired Equivalent Privacy. WEP is a security protocol for wireless local area networks (WLANs) defined in the 802.11b standard. This protocol encrypts data over radio waves so it is protected as it is transmitted from one point to another.
