- Page 16 FITTING Open the arms of the chain, grab them at 10:10 as shown in the picture (1), position the two upper arms on the tyre, make sure the upper plastic plates adhere to the sidewall of the tyre, then join the lower arms of the snow chain as shown in the figure (2). (The bottom plates cannot be positioned on the tyre tread since the tyre is resting on the ground (3)).
