    Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the rating label situated on the base of the machine. Do not use your VIDA-GT if either the power cord or appliance is damaged. Do not use the appliance below 0°C and above 50°C.

    If the device will be mounted on the wall use Annex 1 - Stencil for wall fix (See Scope of delivery). The ARKA device have to be placed at the level of the upper edge of the aquarium or a maximum distance of 80 cm below it.

  • Page 10 VIDA-GT Preparation before exploitation pump outlet must enter in the aquarium. The hoses in aquarium must be at a minimum distance of 2 cm from the surface of the water to avoid reflow of the water (Figure 2, Picture 4).

Connect Slave device first and then Master device to the electrical network. All four blue LEDs on the upper side of the Slave device start to flash while the devices establish a connection.

    VIDA-GT Functional Description Functional Description When VIDA-GT device is switched on for the first time and after factory reset it will display the following: 1. Startup Menu Under Startup Menu you must configure the basic settings of the device and the channels on initial activation of the device. Figure 4 describe Startup menu.

    VIDA-GT Functional Description To configure the settings of the device follow these steps: 1.1. Set Language - you can set English, German or French. The default language is English. Select the menu language with and confirm selected language by pressing button .

    If all channels are set off, on the display will be shown just the model of the device (VIDA-GT), the day of week and the time. On the display will be shown only the information of the channels that are On. You can change Channel On or Off also from menu Settings / Channel On/Off.

    VIDA-GT Functional Description Note: If the channel is Off point 1.4.2./1.4.3./1.4.4. are not visible. If you choose all channels to be Off the next menu is Mixing menu (See 1.5.     VIDA-GT Functional Description If you choose Pipe Calibration Test Yes lights up green LED on the upper side for the corresponding channel (1-4). Use 10ml measuring cylinder (See Scope of delivery) and adjust with buttons until 1-5 drops are falling out.

    VIDA-GT Functional Description 1.5. Mixing Menu - use buttons to choose whether the mixers will work or not. If you choose Mixers Off liquids from the bottles will not mix. If you choose Mixers On you can adjust mixers speed and method of mixing.

    Troubleshooting Troubleshooting The following table provides solution and glitches that may arise as you use ARKA device. If you do not find a solution for your specific problem or the problem persists after troubleshooting please contact our customer service department.

    VIDA-GT Service Service  Pump hose exchange – we recommend replacement of the pump hoses every 2 months. For replacement use precut transparent or cut 100mm pieces from supplied black hose. № Description Picture Remove black silicone hose from pump.
