HSI REACT Operating Instructions

1. Upon power-up the unit will resume display of time and
elapsed time.
2. To set the React unit, press and hold the letter "R" in the
word React for approximately five seconds, or press the RESET and
the MODE buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds. The
units will activate the set-up mode and a blinking 0 in the upper
[orange] row and numbers in the lower [green] row.
3. Time of Day With the red 0 blinking press the START/STOP
switch and the first green digit will begin to blink, Use the MODE
switch to set the first digit. Press the START/STOP to activate the
second digit and use the MODE to set it. Repeat for the rest of the
digits. Upon completion of the time set, a red blinking 1 will
appear.
Date. With the red 1 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the first green digit will begin to

blink. Continue as in 3 above to set the date.
Brightness. With the red 2 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the last green digit will begin

to blink. Pressing MODE will change the brightness from 0 [dim] to 6 [bright] Do not set at over 6.
6. Mode, With the red 3 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the last green digit will begin to
blink. Press the MODE switch to change the Mode as follows:

7. 12/24 Hour With the red 4 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the last green digit will begin
to blink. Pressing MODE will change the operation for the time of day clock to
0 24 hour time of day display
8. 4/6 Digit Display With the red 5 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the last green digit will
begin to blink. Pressing MODE will change the operation for the time of day clock to
0 24 hour time of day display
Single/Dual Display With the red 6 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the last green digit

Self Test With the red 8 blinking press the START/STOP switch and the last green digit will begin to

12. After self test the unit will revert to operational mode. After setting any of the above, operational
mode can be attained by pressing RESET. Your last changes will be entered only if the red digit is
