    User Guide System Overview The TrustBox is a highly scalable and flexible industrial IoT Edge leaf node device. Based on the latest NXP LS1012A, a 64-bit ARM® v8 network processor series, the new maintenance- free, fanless, TrustBox was developed as an intelligent IoT leaf node for secure IoT edge applications.

    The TrustBox has serial (UART) interface available through micro USB port. Power Jack TrustBox includes a Power Supply (including EU/UK and US adaptors), which can be plugged into the power Jack.     To provide sufficient heat dissipation for the cooling of TrustBox, never cover the chassis. Do not place any objects on the device. Do not place the device under any object blocking the top surface of TrustBox. Avoid using TrustBox laying upside down, i.e. with the logo looking downs.

    Further do not insert any retrieval device into the device while it is connected to power. Scalys rejects all liability for any and all damages resulting from operation of the unit with foreign objects inside the chassis.

    6.1 System Mounting For a sufficient air circulation around the device, we recommend not to mount or operate any other devices within the “Restricted Area” around the TrustBox-IND-S1; refer to the red marked area in the following Figures.     7. Operating the TrustBox 7.1 Connecting to DC Main Power Supply The DC input connector is located on the right side of the TrustBox. TrustBox should be connected to a DC main power supply via the supplied power plug adaptor, which is included in the package.

    Once connection is established TrustBox will pull all the registered Azure Edge modules and start running them. Note: at the time of TrustBox release Azure IoT Edge was not yet globally available for arm64 platform. Because of it the default iotedge configuration is set to use a specific version of iot edge modules.

    User Guide 8. Maintenance and Cleaning Equipment from Scalys requires only minimum servicing and maintenance for proper operation. For light soiling, clean the TBOXINDS1 with a dry cloth. Carefully remove dust from the surface of the of the chassis using a clean, soft brush.
