Disposing of your old NEC product
Within the European Union
EU-wide legislation, as implemented in each Member State, requires that waste electrical and
electronic products carrying the mark (left) must be disposed of separately from normal
household waste. This includes monitors and electrical accessories, such as signal cables or
power cords. When you need to dispose of your NEC display products, please follow the guidance of
your local authority, or ask the shop where you purchased the product, or if applicable, follow any
agreements made between yourself and NEC.
The mark on electrical and electronic products only applies to the current European Union Member
States.
Outside the European Union
If you wish to dispose of used electrical and electronic products outside the European Union, please
contact your local authority so as to comply with the correct disposal method.
For EU: The crossed-out wheeled bin implies that used batteries should not be put to the
general household waste! There is a separate collection system for used batteries, to allow
proper treatment and recycling in accordance with legislation.
According to EU directive 2006/66/EC and amendments, the battery can't be disposed
improperly. The battery shall be separated to collect by local service.

Der durchgestrichene Abfallbehälter bedeutet, dass verbrauchte Batterien nicht über den
allgemeinen Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen. Es gibt ein getrenntes Sammelsystem für Altbatterien, um die
ordnungsgemäße Behandlung und Wiederverwertung entsprechend den geltenden Vorschriften zu ermöglichen.
Gemäß der Richtlinie 2006/66/EG und deren Ergänzungen dürfen Batterien nicht auf
ungeeignete Weise entsorgt werden. Die Batterie muss getrennt durch einen örtlichen
Entsorger gesammelt werden.

en el contenedor para residuos domésticos habitual. En el caso de las pilas usadas, existe un sistema de recogida
selectiva que permite el tratamiento y el reciclaje adecuados según la legislación vigente.
La pila debe desecharse correctamente conforme a la directiva de la UE 2006/66/EC y sus
enmiendas, y ser objeto de recogida selectiva por parte del servicio local correspondiente.

Elimination des anciens produits NEC
Au sein de l'Union Européenne
La législation en vigueur dans tous les états membres de l'Union Européenne exige que tous les déchets
électriques et électroniques portant le symbole ci-contre (à gauche) ne soient pas mélangés au reste des déchets
ménagers lors de leur élimination. Ceci inclut notamment les moniteurs et accessoires électriques, tels que les
câbles-signaux et les cordons d'alimentation. Lorsque vous devez vous débarrasser de vos produits d'affichage NEC,
veuillez suivre les recommandations des autorités locales ou demander conseil auprès du revendeur qui vous a vendu le
produit en question. Vous pouvez aussi respecter tout accord passé entre NEC et vous-même, le cas échéant.
Ce symbole présent sur les produits électriques et électroniques ne s'applique qu'aux membres actuels de l'Union
Européenne.
En dehors de l'Union Européenne

batterie, une fois usagée, ne doit pas être mêlée aux autres déchets et doit être remise à un
centre de collecte local.

i monitor NEC, pertanto, occorre informarsi presso gli enti locali oppure chiedere al punto vendita dove è stato acquistato il
