Muting the sound
CH RTN
Press MUTE to turn off the sound. The word
"MUTE" will display on-screen as shown. This
is useful during telephone calls or other
interruptions.
To restore the sound, press MUTE again.
Note: When MUTE is pressed, the Closed
Captioned feature "C1" is activated ("MUTE" on the
screen display will disappear). To deactivate, press
MUTE again. (This feature functions only when the
Closed Caption mode is set to OFF.)
Changing quickly between two channels
The CH RTN function allows you to switch back and forth between the
current and previous channels without entering the channel number each
time.
To operate the CH RTN function:

Select the first channel you want to view.

Select the second channel using the
Channel Number buttons.

Press CH RTN. The previous channel will
return.
Each time you press CH RTN, the TV will
switch back and forth between the two
channels.
