Insert the two (2) straps (small
loop part) on each extremities of
the V base.

Position the bar under the mattress. The bar
should be directly on the bed structure or the box
spring.
Remove the mattress to facilate the installation of the bar and the
straps.

Position the straps under the bed.

It is not necessary to position them in
an X-form

Insert the two (2) straps (large loop part) to
the far end of the V base around the T shape
plate. Then insert the two small loops at the
opposite extremity. (see picture #1)

Slide the straps to meet the bend
of the V base.

In presence of an articulated type bed, ins-
tall the bed rail on only one panel.
Never install the bar on two (2) pannels or
in the articulations.

Make sure that the straps do not interfere with any of the bed mechanisms and
its accessories. It is important to avoid a cissor effect.

Place yourself facing the handle ; Adjust the
strap tension by pulling on the ends ; Make
sure they are tight.

Install the handle (Part B) into the V base (Part A) until the connecting
buttons are clasped together.
Straps position
under the cylinder
WARNING : Do not position straps on any sharp (cutting) parts;
When installing on a one panel bed or a bed with a box sping, make sure
the straps are tight and won't move.
Make sure the straps are not twisted (no ten-
sion).
It is important that the buckle should be facing up.

Position the bed rail as close as possible to the
head of the bed in order to respect the establi-
shed norms.
