    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS • Liquids can be OVERHEATED BEYOND THE BOILING POINT WITHOUT APPEARING TO BE BOILING due to surface tension of the liquid. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the oven is not always present. THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN A SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID. • To avoid burns, the contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars are to be stirred or shaken and the temperature is to be checked before consumption. • DO NOT HEAT OIL or fat in large quantities (like for deep frying) in this microwave! • This is intended for heating food and beverages.     HOW TO OPERATE WARNING: ALWAYS USE OVEN MITTS WHEN HANDLING HOT FOOD! Tip: Only use dishes that are marked “microwave safe”. Discontinue using any dish which becomes very hot when used in a microwave oven. SETTING THE QUICK COOK BUTTONS BAKED POTATO BUTTON 1 potato 6:00 minutes 1. Touch BAKED POTATO once for each 2 potatoes 8:00 minutes potato (approximately 3.5–5 oz. ea.)

Touch REHEAT once to reheat a plate of chilled food (a cover is recommended). The display will show a time of 4:10 minutes.
  • Page 9 HOW TO OPERATE SETTING A COOKING PROGRAM A. ONE-STAGE COOKING 1. Press TIME COOK. Use the number pad to set a cooking time from :01– 99:99. 2. If you want to set a power level other than HIGH/100%, touch POWER, then use the number pad to enter the power level: NUMBER POWER LEVEL B. TWO-STAGE COOKING: Some recipes require different stages of cooking at different temperatures. Most two-stage recipes use lower power for stage two. 1. Set stage one - Follow steps above in ONE-STAGE COOKING. DO NOT TOUCH START/PAUSE. 2. Set stage two - Touch TIME COOK again, then use the number pad to set the stage two cooking time between :01– 99:99. Touch POWER, then use the number pad to enter the power level.

    HOW TO OPERATE SETTING DEFROST BY WEIGHT 1. Touch DEFROST BY WEIGHT once. 2. Using the number pad, enter the weight of the food in pounds 1–6. 3. Touch START/PAUSE. SETTING DEFROST BY TIME 1. Touch DEFROST BY TIME once. 2. Using the number pad, enter desired time from :01– 99:99. 3. Touch START/PAUSE. SETTING THE CHILD LOCK This lock prevents unsupervised operation by locking the control panel. 1. To set, press and hold STOP/CLEAR for 3 seconds. “LOC” is indicated on the display window.

    CLEANING & CARE 1. Turn off the microwave oven. 2. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning. 3. The oven should be cleaned regularly. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could affect the life of the appliance and/or result in a hazardous situation (health hazard or fire hazard). 4. When food splatters, or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. A mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Do not use abrasive brushes or pads. 5. It is important to keep the wave guide clean. Excessive buildup of splattered food could prevent the microwaves from passing through to cook/heat food.

    RECIPES Italian Chicken Breasts ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs 2 chicken breasts, skinned ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated 1 cup pasta sauce 1 egg 2 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated 1. Mix the bread crumbs and Parmesan in a shallow bowl. 2. Beat the egg in another shallow bowl. 3. Dip the chicken in the egg, then roll in the bread crumb mixture to coat fully. 4. Place the coated chicken in the bottom of a microwave-safe dish with cover (I used a glass casserole dish). 5. Cover and microwave at full power for 5 minutes. Turn the chicken with tongs.
  • Page 13 RECIPES Meatloaf for One 1 slice of bread, chopped 2 Tbsp. onion, minced 1 egg salt & pepper 1/4 lb. lean ground beef ketchup 1. Mix the bread, egg, beef and onion in a medium mixing bowl. Add salt & pepper, to taste. 2. Press the mixture into a small, microwave-safe bowl. Top with a thin layer of ketchup and microwave at 70% for 6-7 minutes. Serves 1 Twice-Baked Potatoes 4 medium size baking potatoes ¼ tsp. garlic powder 3–4 green onions, sliced 2–3 Tbsp. cheddar cheese, grated 2 Tbsp. butter 2–3 Tbsp. Mix all ingredients in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Cook on high for 4 minutes. 2. Stir and cook another 2 minutes. Repeat as needed until onions are translucent. Refrigerate until pickles are chilled.     RECIPES Sweet & Salty Snack Mix 9 cups rice squares cereal 1/4 cup butter 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 11/2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 41/2 cups salted peanuts 1. Divide the cereal into 2 large bowls. Set aside. 2. Melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in a microwave-safe bowl on high for 1 minute. Stir and microwave in 30-second intervals until mixture is smooth when stirred. 3. Pour half of the chocolate mixture over one of the bowls of cereal. Stir to ensure each piece of cereal is coated. Repeat with the second bowl of cereal. 4. Pour all of the cereal into a large ziplock bag. Add powdered sugar and shake until sugar is evenly distributed. Pour all out on a cookie pan to dry. 5. When cereal is crispy and dried, mix in the peanuts and serve.     WARRANTY Ginny’s warrants this product free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from provable date of purchase. Within this warranty period, Ginny’s will repair or replace, at its option, defective parts at no charge, provided the product is returned, freight prepaid with proof of purchase to Ginny’s. Allow 2–4 weeks for return shipping. This warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse, abuse or neglect on part of the owner. Warranty is also invalid in any case that the product is taken apart or serviced by an unauthorized service station.
