Items to Be Checked before Use ■ Mounting the Cylinder onto the Backframe & Harness Assembly • Adjust the cylinder securing band of the backframe and harness assembly so that it is larger than the cylinder. • Place the cylinder inside the securing band while keeping the cylinder valve part facing toward the bottom of the backframe and harness assembly. -

How to Use the SCBA ■ Before Use 1. Check to confirm that the cylinder valve is closed. 2. Check to confirm that the high pressure cylinder is firmly se cured to the backframe and harness assembly. If you pull the head adjustment strap located on the top center too strongly in order to secure the facepiece onto your face, a gap may occur at the top of the facepiece, thus preventing it from remaining airtight, and your face may feel severe pressure.
