Please inspect and replace the filter and oil in the air compressor periodically in order to prevent the addition of any foreign material when filling the high-pressure air cylinder (hereinafter referred to as the “cylinder”) with air. SCA 820H...
Caution Always wear and use the SCBA in a safe place free of air pollution. If the demand valve fails to operate normally while you are using the SCBA, please open the by-pass valve (emergency value) immediately so that you can breathe and then escape to a safe place.

Facepiece: Composed of the visor, the demand valve separation button, the air block- ing button (push button), the demand valve, the exhaust valve, the facepiece straps, and the facepiece rubber, the facepiece protects the wearer’s face. With their mesh-like pattern, in particular, the facepiece straps provide excellent wearing comfort and their structure prevents the adjustment strap portions from getting twisted.

Items to Be Checked before Use ■ Mounting the Cylinder onto the Backframe & Harness Assembly • Adjust the cylinder securing band of the backframe and harness assembly so that it is larger than the cylinder. • Place the cylinder inside the securing band while keeping the cylinder valve part facing toward the bottom of the backframe and harness assembly.
If the alarm device fails to sound when the needle on the pressure gauge indicates about 55bar, the SCBA user won’t know he/she has to escape and thus is likely to face a very dangerous situation. In this case, contact the After-Sales Service Team of our Company for inspection and repair services. SCA 820H...
■ Facepiece • Confirm the correct shape of the facepiece and check it for any damage. • Check the rubber component of the facepiece for any damage. • Check to see whether the visor is properly clean and transparent and whether an anti-fog agent has been applied to it.
How to Use the SCBA ■ Before Use 1. Check to confirm that the cylinder valve is closed. 2. Check to confirm that the high pressure cylinder is firmly se cured to the backframe and harness assembly. (Refer to the Items to Be Checked before Use.) 3.

10. Secure the facepiece by evenly pulling the head adjustment straps on its right and left sides with both hands, and then finally tighten the head adjustment strap on its top side. Caution 1. If you pull the head adjustment strap located on the top center too strongly in order to secure the facepiece onto your face, a gap may occur at the top of the facepiece, thus preventing it from remaining airtight, and your face may feel severe pressure.

If the facepiece fails to remain airtight while you are wearing it, you are not protected from toxic gas. In this case, never enter any dangerous area where there is toxic gas, and im- mediately contact the After-Sales Service Team of our Company for inspection and repair services. SCA 820H...

■ Inspection after Use 1. If the pressure of the compressed air in the cylinder is below 90% of the prescribed value (300bar), please refill the cylinder with new compressed air and then store it. 2. Check the rubber O-ring in the connection nut of the high pressure regulator and the connection of the medium pressure hose to see whether they operate normally and remain airtight.
Storage - After using the self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), be sure to go through the inspection and cleaning process, let it dry sufficiently, and then store it. - Fully close the cylinder valve, the demand valve and the by-pass valve (emergency valve), completely remove the residual pressure from the SCBA, and then store it.
