MAIN CHASSIS & TOP AND BOTTOM LATCHES MOUNTING SCREWS
For steel prepared doors, drill / tap and use supplied machine screws.
For thin gauge metal, non-prepared doors or for labelled wood doors use thru bolts.
See template for details on mounting screws.

Install the top strike,
top latch, bottom strik
and bottom latch to
the door with screws

ADJUST SCREW ROD INTO OR OUT OF LATCH
WITH DOOR OPEN:
Latch bolt clears floor
and does not bind on strike
WITH DOOR CLOSED:
Latch bolt fully extended
and dead latched.
(will not push in)

A) Remove the rod adapters
then attach the head

assembly to the door
with 2 screws as shown.
B) Install the end cover to the door
with 2 screws as shown.

Push the top latch in order to
turn the threaded rod
anticlockwise 19/32"(15mm) to
25/32"(20mm) into the top latch.
Push the bar again and turn the
threaded rod into the connection
clockwise about 3/16"(5mm) to
3/8"(10mm).
Push the bar first and then pull
the threaded rod in order to turn
it 3/16"(5mm) to 3/8"(10mm) into
the connection anticlockwise.
Turn the threaded rod clockwise
about 19/32"(15mm) to
25/32"(20mm) into the
bottom latch.
