  • Page 2 10. The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such as curtains. 11. Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that ELBA does not specifically recommended. 12. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is in operation.
  • Page 3 Caution: If the appliance starts to smoke, press the “Cancel” button to stop toasting immediately. Remove all protective wrapping of the bread before placing into the bread slot. Avoid toasting the bread with any ingredients or foodstuff such as butter, sugar, etc. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the bread slot without unplugging the toaster from the electrical outlet first.
  • Page 4 BEFORE THE FIRST USE As there is residue or oil remained in the toaster or heating element, it usually will emit the odor for the first use. It is normal and will not occur after several times of usage. For the first use it is suggested to operate according to following steps, without the bread.
  • Page 5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Power off the appliance. Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet. Wipe the product body with soft dry cloth after the product body has cooled down. Never use metal polish. Pull out crumb tray at the bottom of the toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently, accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a week.
