Turn off power to the light pole at circuit breaker. ASSEMBLY PROCESS
Unbox the QDXLE1 from the packaging.

Determine the type of mount, Arm Mount, Slip Fitter, or Trunnion.

The installation must only be performed by a licensed electrician.
To prevent death, injury or damage to property, this product must be installed in accordance to National
Electrical Code (NFPA70) in the US or Canadian Electrical Code (CSA22.1) in Canada.
Disconnect power before installing the product or servicing it.
Wait until fixture has cooled down before installing or servicing the fixture.
Water in the fixture voids warranty.

Read and follow installation instructions. Improper installation will void warranty.

  • Page 2 QDXLE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS & WIRING DIAGRAMS Arm Mount For both Round Pole (DYR1) and Square/Flat Pole (DYF1) Drill necessary holes into pole for fixture mounting Remove pole cap and lower nut plate inside of pole until threaded holes align with proper mounting holes.
  • Page 3 QDXLE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS & WIRING DIAGRAMS Slip-Fitter Mount (DYS1) Fish power cable though slip-fitter. Attach slip-fitter to QDXLE. Make electrical connections in the pole.   • Page 4 QDXLE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS & WIRING DIAGRAMS Trunnion Mount (DYT1) Affix bracket –surface mount to mounting surface using appropriate hardware (supplied by installer) Affix fixture to mount using fixture mounting screws, lockwashers, washers and nuts Adjust fixture position angle by removing position locking screw, loosening pivot screw rotating to designated position, tightening pivot screw and replacing locking screw (FIG 4).
