3. OpERATION
3.1.
Measuring
3.1.1.
With the vehicle ignition OFF, remove the fuse from the circuit to be tested and insert it into the fuse
jack (fig.1.2), this ensures the correct level of circuit protection.
3.1.2.
Insert the plug into the vehicle fuse socket.
3.1.3.
Switch on the vehicle ignition if required, to energise the circuit and then switch on the tester fig.1.5.
3.1.4.
Operate the circuit under test and the LCD will display the measured current.
WARNING!
The Fuse blade may become hot during testing. Allow to cool before touching.

4. MAINTENANCE
4.1.
Battery Replacement
Power is supplied by a 12V A23S battery. The 'BAT' symbol appears on the LCD display when
replacement is required.
WARNING!
To avoid electric shock ensure all inputs are disconnected from any circuit before

removing the battery cover.
To replace the battery, remove the screw from the back of the unit and remove the cover.
Remove the exhausted battery and replace with a new observing the connection polarity.
Replace cover.
NOTE! Dispose of old battery according to local authority guidelines.
4.2.
Cleaning
Clean using a soft damp cloth.
Store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should
be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.
Take to your local recycling centre to be disposed of properly.
Do not incinerate battery as it may explode when exposed to fire.
Do not attempt to open battery.
