Get Started
The Fontastic smart home motion detector integrates itself everywhere due to its compact de-
sign and is less noticable. Whether at home or on the go - you are immediately informed visually
via LED and push notifi cation. The FontaHome App allows you to program further automations.
The sensor is easy to install and connects seamlessly to your home WiFi via the FontaHome
app. You can combine the motion detector with other Fontastic smart home devices and control
it via the FontaHome App for iOS and Android.
Inserting the battery
The motion detector is powered by a CR123 lithium battery.
1. Remove the motion detector from the holder.
2. Remove the battery cover by holding the upper part of the motion detector and turning
the lower part clockwise.
3. The supplied battery is already inserted. Remove the plastic strip between the battery
and the contact to power the motion sensor.
4. Reinsert the motion detector into the holder.
Mounting
1. Mount the holder of the motion detector either using the supplied adhesive pad or screw
it together. To fasten with screws, remove the motion detector from the holder.
2. Freely adjust the position of the motion detector.
3. Make sure that the motion detector functions within the desired range.
Note: A maximum of one movement per minute is registered.
App installation
Get the „FontaHome" app from Google Play, the App Store,
or follow the QR code or link (URL: www.d-parts.de/app/fontahome)
Registration
You must register before using the FontaHome app. You can choose from various registration
options.
Note: It is technically not possible to use the app without registration. Please note the privacy
policy for the processing of your personal data in the app or at d-parts.de/privacy_fontahome.
Note: Make sure the polarity is correct when inserting the battery.
Confi guration (easy mode)
1. Power the motion detector as described above.
2. As soon as the LED quickly fl ashes (approx. 2 times/second), the device can be confi gured
(simple mode). If the LED does not fl ash as described, press and hold the button on the device
until it quickly fl ashes.
3. Open the FontaHome app, log in and press the „Add Device" or the „+" symbol.
4. Allow the device to connect to the wireless network connected to your phone by entering the
wireless network password and follow the instructions in the app. Make sure that new devices
can be added to the wireless network.
5. After adding the new device, the detail page opens.
Note: If confi guration does not work in simple mode, use AP mode. The device sets up an
access point to which you must connect your phone.
Confi guration (AP mode)
1. Power the motion detector as described above.
2. As soon as the LED slowly fl ashes (approx. once every 2 seconds), the device can be
confi gured (AP mode). If the LED does not fl ash as described, press and hold the button
on the unit until it slowly fl ashes.
3. Open the FontaHome app, log in and press the „Add Device" or the „+" symbol.
4. Press „AP" in the upper right corner.
5. Allow the device to connect to the wireless network connected to your phone by entering the
wireless network password and follow the instructions in the app.
6. Connect your phone to the „Smart Life-XXXX" WiFi network created by the device, with the
last four digits varying.
7. After adding the new device, connect the desired appliance to the device.

Note: The device and app only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks. If the connection fails, please
refer to the „FAQ" menu in the app. We recommend that you give the device a unique name,
e.g. „Motion detector corridor".
For the integration of IFTTT please look in the FontaHome App in the „Profi le" section under
„3rd party integration".
Device Sharing with other FontaHome Users
You can share the devices connected to your FontaHome account with other FontaHome users
so that your friends and family can access the devices
1. Open the device share in the „Profi le" menu.
2. Select the devices you want to share.
3. Select the members you want to share.
Alternatively, you can go to the menu of the device and select „Device Sharing".
Reset Device to Factory Settings
To reset the device to factory settings and delete WiFi settings, go to the devices menu in the
app and select „Factory settings", or press and hold the button on the device until it fl ashes.

• Never use the device if it is visibly damaged.
• Do not operate the unit outdoors or in rooms with high humidity.
