Indications for use:

Instructions for Use:
Please read all of the instructions before use. Use as directed by your clinician. Always follow your
facility protocol for skin care.
1. Open all straps and place the hand over the splint
base, assuring comfortable thumb placement - do
not overstretch. Adjust the separators between the
fingers.
2. Wrap the lower thumb strap (A) over the thumb joint
closest to the palm.
3. Attach the middle strap (B) directly over the wrist.
The hand should conform to the splint with only mild
resistance.
4. Attach the forearm strap (C) to secure the arm to
the splint.
5. Attach the upper thumb strap (D) over the thumb
joint furthest from the palm or over the end of
thumb if it hyperextends.
6. Slide the lower hand strap (blue hook on end)
between the thumb and index finger on the splint.
Wrap it over the backside of the hand, ensuring that
the hand is properly positioned. (This strap can be
fastened before the wrist strap (A) to prevent the
hand from pulling away from the splint. Wrist strap
then goes over this strap to secure it.)
7. Place the upper hand strap (E) over the fingers and
knuckles where needed to encourage extension.

8. Ensure the fingers and joints are properly placed and
not overstretched, and there are no material folds
that could make the patient uncomfortable. The
patient should feel a comfortable, mild stretch but no
discomfort in any area.
