    Getting to know your POPtube Positioning your POPtube Please consider carefully in advance where your radio will be situated and make sure that it is: • on a flat and stable surface. • within 1.4 metres of a power socket. Please ensure that the mains power lead is not a trip hazard.

    Using your POPtube Telescopic aerial Please make sure that the aerial is fully extended before you switch on your radio and attempt to tune to a DAB station (a vertical position is recommended). This will ensure that the maximum signal strength is available when the radio begins to scan. Extending the aerial also ensures the best possible sound quality.

    Note: Some products will automatically search for a new device and so the ‘Add new device’ option is not available. 4. When found, your radio will be displayed as ‘POPtube DAB+’ . Select the device name to begin pairing. 5. When pairing is complete ‘BT connected’ will be displayed.

When the station that you would like to listen to is displayed, press and release the SELECT button to confirm. There will be a short delay whilst your radio tunes to your selected station.

    Using your POPtube 1. Tune the Radio to the DAB radio station that you wish to preset. 2. Press and hold the PRESET button for approximately 2 seconds. ‘Preset Store <1: (Empty) >’ is displayed if no previous station has been stored.

    Using your POPtube • Signal Strength - An empty will appear on the second line of the display to indicate the minimum signal strength for acceptable listening. The row of solid rectangles indicate the actual signal strength that you are receiving. The stronger the signal, the further to the right the row of solid rectangles will be.

    Using your POPtube 2. Press the Play button on your external device to start playback through the radio speaker. To gain optimal volume levels, adjust the output volume level on both the secondary device and on the radio. Note: It is recommended that you unplug the Audio cable from the Aux in socket after you have finished listening to your external device.

    Using your POPtube Note: If you select DAB or FM radio for the alarm source, ‘Last listened’ will flash in the display and if you have set radio station presets, you can also use the buttons to scroll through the options available and press the SELECT button. The last listened to radio station or radio preset in DAB or FM, as appropriate, will be used for your alarm.

    Using your POPtube Snooze When the alarm sounds you can press and release the SNOOZE button on the top of the radio to activate the 10 minute snooze function. ‘Snooze’ will be displayed, followed by the snooze time countdown, until the alarm sounds again.
