CASE 1 – The language bar is visible (as shown in the figure):
Click on the two-letter code of
the language bar showing the
actual keyboard layout used.
Just choose the correct
keyboard layout from the list
(e.g. US for US 'QWERTY' layout
layout). Afterwards all keys
should already be mapped
correctly and work as expected.
CASE 2 – The language bar is not visible (as shown in the figure):
To enable the language bar, proceed as follows:
Open the control panel
Click to 'regions and languages'
Click to 'change keyboards'
The directly opening dialog, 'text services and input languages' shows to
you all actually available keyboard layouts/languages of the computer (you
can add new one be clicking to 'Add')
You can choose the preferred keyboard layout by using the dropdown list
Please close all opened dialog windows by clicking to 'OK'
