Operating instructions

Zero / ON button
1. To switch the protractor on, briefly press the ZERO/ON button
2. To switch the protractor off, hold down the ZERO/ON button
3. To apply a PRESET value, briefly press the ZERO/ON button  more
detailed description in instructions on SET button
Display
Degrees with decimal places are displayed on the top line
On the bottom line, degrees are displayed in gradations of 60
(degrees/minutes/seconds)
SET button
PRESET - Value - Setting
To enter a PRESET value - hold down the SET button. All available digits are
displayed.
The last digit flashes indicating that the value can be changed. With the
ZERO/ON button, the desired digit - which is to be changed - can now be
selected. By briefly pressing the button, the flashing digit moves to the left.
In the flashing digit, the desired value can be changed with the MODE button.
By briefly pressing the MODE button you can select the digits between 0 and
9. After this, briefly press the Zero/ON button to select the next digit to be
changed. After you have made the desired setting, hold down the SET button
to save the entered value. If required, the entered value can now be accepted
in the measuring mode in any angular position by briefly pressing the
ZERO/ON button.
MODE button
By briefly pressing the MODE button, you can switch between different display
modes. The active display mode is shown at the top of the display.

Change of counting direction
The counting direction can be changed by briefly pressing the SET button. The
measured value increases or decreases depending on the direction of rotation.
