For an up-to-date list of the 40V cordless tools compatible with the included battery and charger, visit wenproducts.com and search model number 40401 (2Ah) or 40404 (4Ah). In the battery’s de- scription, there will be a list of current products that this battery can be used with. - Page 3 Do not allow water to flow into the charger. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to reduce shock hazards. • Use only recommended attachments – Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by WEN Prod- ucts may result in risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.

- Page 5 ELECTRICAL INFORMATION DOUBLE INSULATION Double insulation is a concept in safety in electric power tools, where two systems of insulation are pro- vided. This eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with protecting insulation. Double insulated tools do not need to be grounded.
- Page 6 1. Place the battery in the charger. Refer to Tables A & B to understand what the lights on the battery and charger indicate. 2. If using the battery, take the battery off of the charger and place it in your desired WEN tool. If storing the bat- tery, leave the battery in the charger.

Remove the battery from the tool before storing and unplug the charger before storing.
