    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following: 1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. 2. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning appliance.

    BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE 1. Clean the kettle by filling with water up the MAX mark and boiling it (see Section below). 2. Pour the water away for hygiene reasons. 3. Repeat the procedure 2x. 4. Remove the kettle from the packaging and carefully remove all packaging material.

    The water will continue to be kept warm after heating. BOILING WATER: CAUTION: The kettle becomes hot during use. Burn hazard! Only hold the handle. Hot water vapor escapes during heating and boiling. Scalding risk if touched! Close the lid prior to switching the appliance on. Otherwise, the appliance cannot switch off automatically and the hot water can over boil.
