When first powering-up the product, keep the controls all the way off, in order to prevent from being potentially damaged and from producing annoyed sounds caused by defective cables or hookup. When turning up controls, do it gradually, until normal operation is verified. These precautions are necessary for all speaker system with high power amplifiers, since they have enough power to blow most speakers in abnormal situations.
