- Page 2 Center punch Screwdriver Note: Once an existing Follett REF refrigerator has been retrofitted with a keypad lock, the door will no longer be field-reversible. - Page 3 4. Position lock mechanism in jig cutout on door back. Fig. 4 Thread wire cable connector through jig (Fig. 4). 5. Mark 4 holes onto door back through lock (Fig. 5). Fig. 5 6. Remove lock mechanism. 7. Reverse jig on door, aligning slot in jig with centerline Fig.
- Page 4 10. Tap all holes (except center front and center back Fig. 7 holes) with 8-32 tap. 11. From door front, redrill center hole with 3/8" drill bit. Warning: Do NOT try to drill completely through from one side to the other. 12.
- Page 5 20. Hold keypad housing close to mounting base while Fig. 10 folding excess wire inside housing. Position wire away from spring clips that hold keypad housing to base (Fig. 10). 21. Place keypad housing over base and push firmly until housing snaps into place. Keep wires away from spring clips while pushing to avoid damage to wires.
- Page 6 7. Position latch with tongue facing DOWN and space Fig. 13 latch off inside refrigerator ceiling by placing supplied spacers over oval holes on top of latch (Fig. 13). Note: Be sure to use the correct latch for REF1/2 or REF4/5.
