16.8v Back Pack Electrostatic Sprayer
This a brief guide to demonstrate the basic 'Operating Instructions' and 'Tips for Spraying' of the
VP300ES model. Please ensure you have read and understood the operations manual before
Operating Instructions
1. To start the use of the Electrostatic Sprayer first charge your battery (1.1) by inserting the 16.8-volt battery
into the charger and plugging the charger into a wall socket.
2. Next attach the wand (1.2) to the hose (1.3) and then connect it the side of the back pack unit with both the
water and electrical lines via the connectors (1.10).
3. Fill the tank (1.4) by first removing it from the unit via the clip at the top (1.5) and then lift the tank out the
main unit and fill with your desired water based liquid.
4. Insert the tank back into the main unit ( TIP - Stand the unit on a flat surface and then place the tank into the
unit ) and secure it via the tank clip.
5. Insert the charged battery into the battery socket (1.1 ) and screw on cover.
6. Ensure 3 In 1 nozzle (1.6) is on desired setting and before spraying.
7. Turn on the back pack sprayer via the power switch on the left hand side. (1.7)
8. Lift the back pack onto your back via the straps or attach to trolley accessory.
9. Pull the trigger (1.8) and spray on your desired surface. When spraying, there is a locking clip which can be
pushed in to allow constant spray. (1.9)
10. When you have finished spraying always take the battery out and empty the contents of the tank and flush
through with water. Once the battery has been removed, remove hose via the coupler attachment and push
the silver tab to remove the electrical line. (1.10 )
11. Never leave the solutions in the sprayer when not in use—pack away sprayer.

Tips for Spraying
Stand approximately 5-7 feet away from the surface/area, as the spray travels further than what you think.

Work in a methodical pattern to ensure an even coverage.
•
Angle the sprayer slightly upwards and aim slightly above your target as droplets will drop slightly.
•
If you want a longer dwell time

Don't spray directly into sockets or electrical items.

Always wear the correct PPE equipment for the chemical / solution you are spraying.

Cleaning the sprayer. Empty the contents and refill using water, turn off the electrostatics and spray through

the system for approximately one minute. You can turn the nozzles to spray through each one, however
this is not really required.
