Before starting your pump, read first this manual and follow the
instructions included in this manual.

1. SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS

This pump can only be used plugged into a ground-fault circuit
breaker with a nominal fault current of max 30mA (according to VDE
0100 part 702 and 738).
Do not use the pump if there are people or animals in contact with the
fluid to be pumped.
Before you install and commission a new pump, a specialist must
check the following list to verify the installation has been carried out in
compliance with current regulations:
Ground connection and
zero conductor have
been installed correctly.
The electrical connections
are protected from
moisture and flooding.

The circulation water
temperature is less than
35ºC
35°C.
The pump can't transfer abrasive liquids or substances other than
water, like motor fuel, detergent or chemical products.
This pump should be installed in wells that meet the following stan-
dards:
• adequate diameter but not much bigger than the diameter of the
pump as that would result in insufficient motor cooling
• the water of the well should always be free of every kind of impurity
that could interfere with the operation of the pump. If the level of
dirt/sludge is higher than 0.1 g/l, the pump might block
• with stable dynamic water level during the year
• with correct verticality.
This pump can be installed in a stationary position with a rigid pipe or
a flexible hose.
In order to avoid the water hammer effect, that is, the generated over-
pressure that could cause cracks at accessories installed at the end
points (taps, valves etc), a non return valve is already installed.
Securing the pump:
Install the pump in a vertical well. The distance between the base of
the pump and the bottom of the well should be at least 5m. The distan-
ce between the upper part of the pump and the dynamic water level
should also be at least 5m.
You should never install the pump by holding it
unsupported from the pipe or power cord.
You must hold the pump by the specially provided
handle with an appropriate rope.

security you may consider to double this installation as a security
measure.

2. INSTALLATION

Plug:
The provided triphasic cable is 20m but if the application demands it,
it can be replaced by a longer one always given that it has got the
appropriate gauge.
1.Support the underwater cable with clamps every 3m and make sure
that it won't curled up around the pump.
2.Connect the cables of phase (black-brown-blue) and earth
(yellow/green) in the connection block according to their colours.
3.Check whether the cables are connected tightly.

3. MAINTENANCE

This pump is an approved, maintenance-free high quality product,
which has been subject to severe final tests. However, a regular
inspection and maintenance is necessary in order to secure long life
and uninterrupted operation.
Maintenance guidelines:
• Remove the mains plug before all maintenance work.
• Run your pump weekly.
