Quick Start Guide
Powering on for the first �me:
1. Connect power supply.
2. Red light indicates device is powered on.
3. Device boots within 15 seconds.

Note: The CTM5 controller implements a 'fallback' IP address of 169.254.1.1. This IP address is always available to use to
connect to the device regardless of the configura�on of the network interface in the GUI. Connec�ng this fallback IP address is
the recommended method to use when configuring the CTM5 Controller for the first �me.
Configure a computer/laptop on the same 169.254.1.0/24 network, use 169.254.1.2 for example.
Connect an Ethernet cable directly from the computer/laptop to the CTM5 -Controller's Ethernet port.
Using a web browser on the computer/laptop, navigate to the CTM5 Controlle r web interface at 169.254.1.1.
Sign in with the username/password listed above.

Changing the Controller's password:

Select the 'System' tab, then the 'Administra�on' sub-tab.
Enter new password twice, scroll to bo�om of page and click "Save & Apply" bu�on.
Configuring the network interface IP address:
Select the 'Network' tab. On the 'Interfaces' sub-tab, click the 'Edit' bu�on on the 'Ac�ons' sec�on on the right.
A new 'LAN' sub-tab will appear, and a separate Configura�on area.
Note: The CTM5 Controller ships with its network interface configured in DHCP client mode. To change to a sta�c IP address,
select 'Sta�c Address' from the 'Protocol' drop-down box. Click the 'Switch Protocol' bu�on. Enter appropriate IPv4
informa�on and click 'Save & Apply' bu�on when finished.
