Store the user manual in a safe place for future reference. Add some water into water tank up to the max level and brew water for several times without coffee powder.
- Page 5 3. Place the carafe with the lid closed in the coffee maker making sure it is well placed into the coffee maker in order to activate the pause and serve mechanism. CAUTION: To avoid overflow, the carafe must fit securely into the coffee maker with the lid on. If it is not properly positioned on the warming plate, hot water or coffee could overflow creating the risk of burns and injuries.
- Page 6 13. If two (2) or more pots of coffee are to be made it is recommended that the coffee maker is allowed to cool for 10 minutes between each brewed pot. The filter should also be rinsed out after each brewing cycle.
