Cursor Movements

The following table lists the keyboard shortcuts for moving the cursor and
selecting text.
Key Sequence
Ctrl – Left arrow
Ctrl – Right arrow
Ctrl – Shift – Left arrow
Ctrl – Shift – Right arrow
Shift – Left arrow
Shift – Right arrow
Shift – Up arrow
Shift – Down arrow
Cmd – Left arrow
Cmd – Right arrow
Fn – Up arrow

Result
Moves the cursor one word to the left.
Moves the cursor one word to the right.
Highlights the word to the left of the cursor.
Highlights the word to the right of the cursor.
Highlights the character to the left of the cursor.
Highlights the character to the right of the cursor.
Highlights one line of text above the cursor.
Highlights one line of text below the cursor.
Emulates the Home key.
Emulates the End key.
Emulates the Page up key.
Emulates the Page down key.
Tabs backward through fields when set to "Inserts
Tab" in Layout Settings.
Tabs forward through fields when set to "Inserts Tab"
in Layout Settings.
