    Eugenio Eugenio is è Gateway which generates and uses radio frequencies. The device has beend implemented by means of state-of-the-art technologies and by adhering to currnt government regulations safety. However, the interaction with other devices is not totally excluded during the operation live of the Gateway.

  • Page 40 appendix Z-WAVE HEALING There are circumstances where you want to heal the network, e.g. by correcting routing misbehaviour or solving problems related to devices apparently not responding to commands.   • Page 41 appendix Z-WAVE SUBSTITUTION OF NODE There are circumstances where some Node/Device does not respond anymore to the Controller. Such nodes are called Failed nodes. You can include an identical new node as substitute of the failed one. Just insert the ID of the failed node (and its DSK if supported) and press Sostituisci (Substitute). Then insert the new device and start the inclusion process.

If this controller is the primary controller for your network, resetting it will result in the nodes in your network being orphaned and it will be necessary after the reset to exclude and re-include all of the nodes in the network.
