SETUP MENU OPERATIONS The AV500HD’s setting menus are displayed on the Multiview monitor or within the color touch-screen. This section covers all the menu and sub-menu operations of the system settings, please refer to this section for any setting changes, the menu operations follow the flow described below.
AV500HD AUDIO SETUP Users will find the “AUDIO” button to the left of the touchscreen. Hit this for immediate access to Audio Routing options for channels 1 to 4, as seen below. Select AV or LINE as required, and the appropriate channel will be routed to this channel.

AV500HD Audio Follow Stereo channels (5/6, 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12) include a “Follow” button that activates the Audio Follow function on the selected channel. This will, in essence, “link” the channel’s audio to a video transition. An audio crossfader will be applied to the audio signal consistent with the length of the video transition.

Transition Setup The AV500HD has 4 wipe pattern buttons used to determine the appearance of the transition between one input source and another. Users can manually assign any of the internal wipe patterns to each of these buttons. In addition to this, users can adjust the transition time in either time or frames.
