    Auto MDI/MDIX, UPnP protocol supported General Features The CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 is a basic Phone Call Accounting system, which receives the call data from the PBX through either the Serial Port or the Ethernet port, processes the call without assigning any charges to the calls.

    Unpack the unit from its shipping carton and check that all the materials have been received in good condition. Any damages or shortfalls must be reported immediately to the distributor from whom the purchase was made. Your CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 shipping carton must contain the following: The CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 Unit Power Adapter Ethernet cable Select a suitable location for the unit to be placed.
  • Page 7 ONO-7 Once the unit is visible on the network, note its IP address, simply type this IP address in the browser’s address bar and press Enter to communicate with the unit. Or, you may double-click on the unit showing up in your “Network places” to bring up the home page of the unit on your browser window.

    ONO-7 The default User Password is “123456”. Type this in and press the “Sign In” button and you would be logged in to the unit. After a successful sign in, the following information would be displayed : The Firmware version of the unit is displayed along with the time and date with the current time zone that it is set to.
  • Page 10 : Note : The serial port on the CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 units emulate the RS232 DCE interface and have DB9 Female connectors. Use a straight cable between the CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 and the PC.

    ONO-7 TCP Server mode : The Ethernet port of the CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 unit acts like a device server which waits passively to be contacted by a host (the host plays the role of Client). Once a connection has been established, the host computer can receive and transmit data to and from the serial device.

    ONO-7 Press the “Submit” button to save the settings. Change Time Zone The unit is set to the US Eastern Standard Time by default. If you are installing the unit in a different time zone, then you may change this setting here. Click on the pull down arrow on the pop up window that appears and the available time zones are displayed.

    ONO-7 Select the desired time zone and click on the “Submit” button to save the changes. Change Password The User password may be changed by clicking on this option. The pop up window appears as shown below. Enter the current password (old password) and then the new password that you want to change it to.

    ONO-7 Upgrade Firmware This option should not be used unless the Dealer or the Distributor from whom this unit was purchased has advised you to exercise this option !     ONO-7 Reports Click on the “Reports” tab to see the available reports. The following reports are available on the ONO-7 : Non Call Records Report Wake Up Call Records Report Emergency Call Records Report All Call Records Report Non Call Records Report This report gives the list of all calls that could not be processed as they did not match the Incoming or Outgoing or Wake Up or Emergency call patterns as defined for the PBX at that place.

    ONO-7 These records would usually be generated for calls which were not dialed completely or incoming calls which were dropped abruptly immediately after it was answered. To print these calls, click on the “Printer” icon on the top right side above the first record and you will be able to print these calls using any of the printers available in the network.

    ONO-7 If two email addresses are defined, an email will be sent to both recipients. All Call Records Report This report is used to take a print of the calls or to delete the stored calls. All the call records present in the system memory are displayed in the order of time at which they were made, in the descending order with the most recent call at the top.

  • Page 20 ONO-7 You may click on the “Settings” option, select the “Network & Internet”, then the “Ethernet” option and open the “Change advanced sharing options” page.

Note : The CALL-A-MATIC ONO-7 unit would always be visible in the network if the unit is in DHCP mode (default mode) or if the unit has been previously set to a Static IP address which is in the same sub net as the rest of the network.
