    Operating Instructions Importance of Leveling a Refrigerator In an absorption refrigerator system, ammonia is liquefied in the finned condenser coil at the top rear of the refrigerator. The liquid ammonia then flows into the evaporator (inside the freezer section) and is exposed to a circulating flow of hydrogen gas, which causes the ammonia to evaporate, creating a cold condition in the freezer.

    Maintenance & Service Check burner flame Check burner flame for proper appearance. The flame should be light blue with no yellow at the tip. Check the LP gas pressure The LP gas pressure should be checked and the main regulator readjusted if pressure is incorrect. The correct operating pressure is 11 inches of water column.

Soak the jet in wood alcohol and blow it out with compressed air. Re- install and tighten burner jet. FIRE HAZARD: Do not use a wire or pin when cleaning the burner jet as damage can occur to the precision opening.
